Local historian Gavin Hunter takes a different look at the Wirral Peninsula.

6 December: “Village Christmas Show”

A specially produced drama collection focused on Christmas, with local players and  music, followed by mince pies and wine.

3 January: “Goredale – what a lovely idea”

Peter Nicholson describes the transition from the small market garden bought by his parents to the award winning destination garden and home store.

7 February: “Leahurst – past, present and future”

Liz Bode gives an insiders view of the veterinary department of Liverpool University which is known locally as “Leahurst”.

7 March: “A Walk Around Wales: Part 2”

Nigel Griffiths concludes his journey around the perimeter of Wales, returning home to Burton via Offa’s Dyke, with more photos and recollections of the wide variety of scenery and places.

4 April: Annual General Meeting followed by “How wool made Witney”

Keith Crawford comes from Witney in Oxfordshire to describe the rise and fall of the blanket making industry which made the town famous.
